Corrosion inhibitor “V 9380” is a water-alcohol mixture of organic compounds based on organic phosphonates. The reagent also includes organic dispersants and azole compounds.
The inhibitor is intended for corrosion protection of heat exchange equipment and communications in water circulation systems through cooling towers, as well as in water vapor-condensate systems.
Corrosion inhibitor “V 9380” is produced in three grades A, B, C in accordance with the current technical conditions TU 2482-026-17423242-2009 with rev. 1, 2, 3.

Protection of equipment for water circulation systems
Inhibitor “B 9380” is dosed into the water circulation system constantly using a dosing pump. Dosing can be carried out directly from product drums or from working plastic containers. For ease of dosing, the reagent can be pre-diluted with water. The supply of the reagent to the make-up water is considered more efficient.
The dosage of the B 9380 inhibitor depends mainly on the hardness of the water. As a general recommendation, we give the following dosages: 10-15 ppm with a calcium hardness of up to 2 mEq; 15-25 ppm with water hardness up to 5 mg-eq .; 25-50 ppm at water hardness 5-10 meq. Dosages and hardness values are given for the make-up water. At the initial use of the inhibitor, shock dosages of about 50-100 ppm are recommended for 1-3 days to form a protective film.
